Sometimes yes, sometimes no. It really depends on the type of trip, the destination, and how much work and time are required. If the trip is a cruise, a group tour, or a five-star resort stay with no customized components, usually there is a small nominal booking fee. If the trip is a custom-tailored itinerary, then, yes, there is usually a fee. There are no hidden costs however, and we will always be transparent and up front of our fees before we start planning your trip.
We’re not like other travel agencies that sell cookie cutter tours, or the faceless booking engines you might stumble across online. We’re experts in the art of travel. We’re here to guide you, to inspire you, to tailor an experience to your precise needs, because every traveler is searching for that perfect experience. So let us help you find yours…
Jordan has a hot, dry climate characterized by long, hot, dry summers and short, cool winters. Typical of a Mediterranean style climate, there is a rainy season from November to April and very dry, often hot weather for the rest of the year. Snow is not uncommon in the winter in the mountainous regions. The climate is influenced by Jordan's location between the subtropical aridity of the Arabian desert areas and the subtropical humidity of the eastern Mediterranean area. Especially in the summer, it is important that you drink enough liquids in order to prevent dehydration.
In general, the farther inland from the Mediterranean Sea you travel, the greater are the seasonal contrasts in temperature and the less is the rainfall.
January is the coolest month and August is the hottest. Average temperatures and precipitation varies as seen in the below.
My name is Mahmoud and I am a Bedouin from Petra. I am very happy to provide all services for travelers, from transportation to one or multi day tours to planning and arranging a full itinerary. I am flexible and can meet you at any Jordanian border crossing or at any Jordanian airport.
I am very passionate about my country and love to share my knowledge about history and ancient cultures. One of the things I love the most is to see people smile and hear the "wow" they say when they see or understand something new. This is best achieved by private tours, as everything becomes much more personal and intense. I enjoy helping you plan the perfect tour for your time and needs. As we can arrange everything in advance, this helps to create a relationship even before you arrive.
I am proud to serve in my peaceful country, Jordan, and to show to the Jordan visitors the ancient history and the rich and different cultures, from Petra, one of the new seven wonders of the world; to Wadi Rum, with its soft sand, lovely dunes, and endless skies full of stars; to the Jordan Valley, with the most unique and lowest area in the world, the Dead Sea; to the Gulf of Aqaba, where it is possible to go diving, snorkeling, or out on a glass bottom boat; to Jerash, with one of the best preserved ancient Greek and Roman cities.
My goal is to assist you to make your trip to Jordan unforgettable. Let me know your ideas and I will make it happen. I will make your stay in Jordan a pleasant one!!!
